Jari Love; Creator of the RIPPED! Workout, AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor & Personal Fitness Trainer

Jari Love is a certified personal trainer and the creator of Get RIPPED!™, the multiphase, no-nonsense, full-body workout system designed to help people of any fitness level shed unwanted pounds in just weeks. The hot-selling and critically acclaimed Get RIPPED! series enables individuals to burn up to three times more calories than the traditional weight-training program, and has received rave reviews from fitness critics throughout North America since the first title debuted in late 2005. Since then, she has developed a fanatical fan following from consumers and news media alike.
Jari enjoys spending time with her family - husband Ray and two children, ages 13 and 17.  She is always looking for new ways to incorporate exercise into her daily activities - even if it means doing pushups during TV commercials!  The statement that summarizes Jari Love's approach to life is:  Take good care of yourself to ensure that you can give your best in everything that you do.

 
Brittany Hale; BCOMM Marketing, AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor in Resistance Training, Spin & Hi-low & Assistant to Jari Love

Brittany teaches fitness classes regularly at both Fitness Plus locations in Calgary.  She is AFLCA certified in Resistance Training, Spin Instruction and Step/Hi-low Choreography.  She has also recently completed the Ripped Fitness Testing Protocol Workshop.  Brittany is now working on gaining personal training experience to help Jari keep up with the growing number of clients. 

Brittany continues to assist Jari with a multitude of exciting projects.  She is responsible for organizing any and all new programs, workshops, events and ventures that come to pass.




Michelle Milot; B.Sc. Kin, Manager at Fitness Plus North & AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor in Group Fitness & Spin

Michelle Milot's adventurous spirit has taken her all around the world and has always kept her searching for new experiences, especially those that challenge her physical and mental well being. Michelle's dedication to health and wellness shows in everything she does.  Currently, she is working in Calgary as a gym manager, personal trainer, and Group instructor teaching Ripped!, Spin, and Core classes as well as her own physical preparations for the next triathlon season.  Michelle is always looking for new ways to make her classes colorful, fun and dynamic. 



Lesley Tozer; Bachelor of Social Work & Muay Thai Champion

Lesley's interest in physical fitness began after the birth of her twins.  She was looking for a path to better her health, strength and energy level in order to keep up with the kids and to have something for herself outside of the family.

After participating in the Ripped program for some time, Lesley joined the Ripped team of instructors in the spring of 2007. She found the philosophy around the program so innovative, empowering and effective.  Lesley's goals for the future at this point are to continue to raise the bar for herself in terms of instructing and to continually learn as much as possible in all areas of fitness.

 

Darren Travers; PFT & Certified in Olympic Lifting

For over a decade Darren has been in the health and wellness industry. His passion for physical fitness came right after high school at which point he began following a traditional bodybuilding routine. After reaching what he then thought was his peak, Darren found functional fitness and Olympic lifting. Now Darren incorporates as much bodyweight and free weight exercise into his routines as he can. His tough bootcamp style workouts get quick results and help participants surpass plateaus and add variety to their regimes.

 

 

Tracy SchotanusTracy Schotanus; AFLCA Certified Fitness Instructor, Fitness Educator & Sport Aerobic Champion

Tracy Schotanus is a seven-time Canadian National Sport Aerobic Champion and World Medallist. She credits the intense years of training and competition as the main catalyst that launched what she considers today to be a very diverse, successful and rewarding career in the fitness industry.   Studying Physical Education at both Mount Royal College and the University of Calgary, Tracy compliments her post secondary education with a number of industry certifications including 27 years of industry experience with 20 of those years as a Fitness Educator.

A proudly sponsored THREE STRIPE ADIDAS ATHLETE, a national and international fitness consultant, instructor trainer, presenter and public speaker, Tracy receives high acknowledgments for her outgoing contributions towards developing new and innovative programs.  This, along with her renowned expertise, unlimited energy and enthusiasm, cements her reputation as being one of Canada's top fitness professionals.  Her career is one that she proudly shares with others and continues to bring to fitness enthusiasts world wide.
